From 08 to 17\u00a0June 2018, the festival is now taking place for the 23rd time. The time when the city turns into a stage. In over 66 locations of the city and in the surrounding area you will find artists who want to inspire the viewers. Most ideas are street performances, the play, music and colorful costumes connect.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle toggle-day-1-arrival-in-sibiu closed default border\"><h4 class=\"toggle-trigger\"><a href=\"#\">Day 1: Arrival in Sibiu<\/a><\/h4>\n<div class=\"toggle-content\">Transfer from the airport Sibiu to your centrally located hotel. After a short refreshment break, we start with a detailed walking tour of Sibiu. The city was founded by the Saxons in the 12th century was in 2007 together with Luxembourg European Capital of Culture. The many pedestrian streets invite all visitors to explore the beauty of the city. In Cisnadie is a fortified church and castle in Cisnadioara the only built in the Romanesque style castle, which is not a ruin. In the early afternoon we reach Sibiu again. The city is considered the birthplace of the famous Dracula. What it&#8217;s all about, we learned today. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and has an intact and inhabited castle. In the afternoon we arrive in Birth\u00e4lm. From a distance we see the imposing fortified church, which offered the villagers protect themselves from attack.
