RegionSouthern Carpathians Duration7 days · 6 nights GroupMax 10 people LevelStrenuous

The Făgăraș Mountains are the highest and most dramatic range in Romania — a granite ridge running east–west at over 2,000 metres for nearly 70 kilometres. This traverse follows the main crest, summiting Moldoveanu (2,544m), Romania's highest peak, and spending five nights in remote high-altitude mountain huts above the clouds.
