Two Massifs Circuit

Ascend by cable car to the Bucegi plateau (2,000m). Walk to the Sphinx and Babele rock formations — natural erosion sculptures that have become icons of Romanian mountain culture. Overnight at Cabana Babele or Omul hut (2,505m).

The highest point of the circuit: Omu (2,505m), the exposed summit at the northern tip of the Bucegi plateau. A long ridge walk with views over the Prahova Valley and the full sweep of the Carpathians. Descent to Bușteni.

Drive west to the Piatra Craiului National Park. Afternoon walk from Zărnești to the Zăplazi area — a gentle approach walk giving the first views of the white limestone crest. Overnight at Cabana Curmătura.

The classic ridge: the northern section of Piatra Craiului, a narrow limestone blade with 500m drops on both sides. Via ferrata sections assist the most exposed passages. One of the finest ridge walks in the Carpathians. Overnight at Cabana Piatra Craiului.

The southern ridge traverse to La Om (2,238m), the highest point on Piatra Craiului. The limestone narrows to a true knife-edge in places. Overnight at Cabana Brusturet in the valley.

A gentler final day: a walk through the Dâmbovicioara gorges and a visit to Bran Castle. Return to Brașov or Sinaia. Farewell dinner.
